Rinky Bhatia, MD
Rinky Bhatia, MD is a general cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Bhatia earned her medical degree with High Distinction from Wayne State University. She completed her internship and residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital, followed by a fellowship in cardiology at Massachusetts General Hospital. She subsequently served as a general cardiologist for the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Insitute for over 15 years, managing coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease with a special interest in prevention. She is board certified in cardiovascular disease and sees patients in Bethesda, Maryland.
Carlos E. Sanchez, MD
Carlos E. Sanchez, MD, is an assistant professor of neurological surgery and of pediatrics at the George Washington University (GW) School of Medicine and Health Sciences, and principal investigator at the GW Cancer Center’s Cell Enhancement and Technologies for Immunotherapy Program. Fellowship trained in neurosurgery, neurocritical care, and pediatric neurosurgery, he specializes in benign and malignant brain tumors. While serving as the director of skull base surgery at Children's National Hospital, from 2018–21, Sanchez earned a three-year KL2 award from the National Institutes of Health, exploring the development of adoptive cell therapy technologies for brain tumors.
